The highlight of my stay in Bentpath was definitely the breathtaking mountain views from the accommodation. It felt like stepping into a postcard every time I looked out the window! It reminded me of a scene from a fantasy movie, where you could almost imagine mystical creatures roaming the hills. Absolutely stunning!
Road potholes near the property.

The room at Billholm House was cozy and relaxing, with a touch of country charm. I loved the comfortable bed and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Having two bathrooms with a shower was a real bonus, making getting ready in the morning a breeze.
The only thing that I personally didn't enjoy was the lack of a bathtub. But hey, that's just me and I know some people don't mind.

I had a blast hiking and fishing in the area! The garden with a barbecue was perfect for grilling up my catch. And thank goodness for the complimentary WiFi, I could still post all my amazing outdoor adventures on social media!
Oh yes, I just adored the soundproofing. It was so lovely to not hear a peep from the outside world.

The beds were insanely cozy and comfy, giving us a mind-blowing night's sleep. The peaceful and relaxing atmosphere made us feel instantly at ease. We were blown away by Richard and Kieran's hospitality, especially when they treated us to eggs on our first night. They were super helpful and friendly, always there with a smile and quick to provide anything we needed, like an extra blanket. The outdoor barbecue and covered eating area was a jaw-dropping addition, perfect for enjoying meals surrounded by nature. The resident hare and the chaffinches and great tits added an extra touch of magic to our stay. The accommodation was squeaky clean and spacious, with two huge bedrooms ideal for couples. The bathroom was absolutely amazing, with a shower area that was pure luxury. The additional toilet upstairs and the convenient toilet and shower room at the entrance were brilliant touches. The kitchen/dinner area downstairs was equipped with all the modern facilities we could ask for. The added bonus of TV and free wifi made our stay even more comfortable. Surrounded by stunning countryside, this place was a paradise for a stress-free getaway. We highly recommend this place for a jaw-dropping stay.

We got so much value for our money at Billholm House! The room was incredibly cozy and the beds were so comfortable. The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Richard and Kieran were wonderful hosts, helping us adjust to the European way of life and always being there to answer our questions or provide an extra blanket. We can't wait to come back to Scotland because of them!
The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

Can't recommend this place enough for a relaxing and comfortable break away. The peaceful setting was perfect to get away from it all. The house itself was beautifully renovated and had lots of thoughtful touches. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The beds were cozy and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. One of the best aspects was the outdoor barbecue area, where we enjoyed a delicious meal while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
Only a slight issue was the additional charge we had to pay for more adults. the potholes on the road leading to the property could use some attention from the council.
